A name or location entered in a search box is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its results. We do not keep or log those search terms on our own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or other direct message may be retained so our team can respond. We do not disclose that message outside the organization unless the law requires disclosure.

We do not maintain, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal records. The content identifies official Mississippi County custodians, such as the sheriff, Circuit Clerk, Missouri State Highway Patrol Central Repository, and Missouri Sex Offender Registry. Visitor information is not turned into a third-party record or consumer report, and this site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Their privacy policies, retention periods, and disclosure rules apply to information submitted through those tools. We do not control those choices. Review the provider's terms before starting a search.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to a sheriff, court, state agency, legal resource, or outside search service. Once you leave, the destination's privacy policy controls the visit. Read that policy before providing personal information.
Some advertising providers may track activity across websites to select ads. That tracking occurs on the provider's systems.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be received by:
- Analytics services that measure traffic and site performance
- Search partners handling a query submitted to their tool
- Advertising networks placing ads on the pages
- A government or law-enforcement body acting under a valid legal order
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security practices are used to protect collected information. No internet system is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee that a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
The site is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor's information is identified, a deletion request may be made.

Missouri's Sunshine Law, Chapter 610, governs records held by public bodies, while RSMo §43.500 and RSMo §43.506 define and govern repository criminal-history reporting. Those public-record laws do not turn this private site into a state custodian. For visitor data held by us, you may:

- Opt out of eligible forms of processing
- Request deletion where applicable
